Most team admin is straightforward. The problem is that it tends to live in six different places.
A holiday request arrives by email. Sick leave is recorded on a spreadsheet. CPD evidence sits in a personal folder. A health and safety review depends on the one person who remembered to put it in their calendar. None of these jobs is difficult on its own, but together they create a lot of checking and chasing.
This is manageable when you work alone. As a team grows, it becomes less reliable. Information stays in inboxes or in people's heads, and the practice owner becomes the person everyone has to ask.
We built Team HQ for Osgo Compliance members
The Holiday Manager shows who is away, how much allowance remains and which requests need approval. The digital noticeboard gives the team a shared place for updates. CPD records, development goals, health and safety tasks and key documents can sit alongside them. The Starter and Leaver Wizard helps with the less frequent jobs that are easy to miss when somebody joins or leaves.
The point is not to create another layer of admin. It is to make the admin you already have easier to see and share.
Team members can submit their own leave requests, maintain their records and find the information they need. Managers get a clearer view of what is happening without opening several spreadsheets or relying on memory.
Team HQ will not remove every job involved in employing people. It should remove some of the duplicated records, email chains and "where did we save that?" moments.
If your current system works, there is no reason to change it for the sake of change.
If it depends on one person's inbox or memory, bringing it together is worth considering.
